Sue McMullen: Office Manager / Accounting Specialist / Payroll Manager

Sue was raised in Redwood City and moved to Fremont in 1985 with her wonderful husband, Bill, and their two handsome sons.

Before starting their family, Sue worked for a law firm as an Administrative Assistant.  That was followed by many years as a “professional volunteer”.  Undoubtedly a perfect position for Sue while raising her boys.  She is truly a generous giver of her time, her wealth of knowledge and her fabulous energy.  Upon rejoining the workforce, Sue was employed by Fremont Christian School, where she wore a collection of administrative hats.  Soon thereafter she worked for M.J.B. Pipeline in the same administrative capacity.

Sue joined Platinum Pipeline in January 2009, as the Office Manager / Accounting Specialist.  She immediately and fearlessly “jumped in, feet first” assisting Lisa, Manuel and Larry in every way possible.  From distributing incoming mail, to implementing the new accounting software to preparing bid pre-qualifications, to delivering bids at public openings, Sue took care of it.  The office was very busy at that time and Sue fit the mold perfectly.  We often say, when it comes to Sue’s positive outlook, dedication, dependability, initiative and hard-working nature “there is definitely no task left undone or unfinished!”.  She embraces responsibility and sees each project through to completion.  Everyone loves Sue! . . . and loves Sue’s talent of humming throughout the office in the busiest of moments!

When not working hard at Platinum Pipeline, Sue loves spending time with her husband and visiting their grown children who live out of state.  She is also a HUGE sports fan for the Home Teams (Giants, Warriors, and 49ers) and is often wearing team colors on game days!   Also, as of August 2013, she has a new member on her team . . . she is a very proud Grandma for the first time to Spencer Thair.  He is a beautiful baby boy, indeed!

Sue often expresses how much she loves being a part of the Platinum family.  We are forever grateful for her friendship and for the many ways she contributes to making Platinum Pipeline what it is today.
